It can dramatically reduce solar heat gain and the entry of UV light into a building, thereby minimising the need for air conditioning and preventing fading of soft furnishings. With higher insulating qualities (U-Value) than standard glass, it also retains warmth in winter.  Double Glazing is an ideal option for all of of our Steel Doors and Windows. Our standard Double Glazed Units are two 5mm layers of glass, spaced 12mm apart.
